Kieran Donohue comes from Caherlistrane Co.Galway, an area well known for its musicians and singers for many years. He always had a love for country music and always dreamed of being on stage entertaining people, from a young age his parents would bring him to hear bands in the local area, it was at this time kieran got his opportunity to join the bands on stage where his love of music grew even further. During his teenage years Kieran would fill in with local bands from time to time, but he always dreamed of having his own band, which he formed at the age of 20, they played in hotels, bars and for functions throughout the west of Ireland. Kieran has a great love for Irish and American country music, he has met some of the all time greats including Don Williams, Ricky Skaggs, John Prine, Nanci Griffith to name but a few along with a host of Irish artists, some of whom he has joined on stage. During the years Kieran had 2, 3 and 4 piece bands, but at the beginning of 2024 decided to go as a one man band gigging throughout Ireland and even as further afield as Spain, so with the positive feedback and amount of bookings that are coming in, this proved to be the right decision. Kieran plays for a variety of gigs from social dancing, parties, hotels, music venues etc. His music covers a wide range that caters for any event so you are guaranteed a great night.
